Then Job replied :
2. ³ÊÈñ¸¸ ÂüÀ¸·Î ¹é¼ºÀ̷α¸³ª ³ÊÈñ°¡ Á×À¸¸é ÁöÇýµµ Á×°Ú±¸³ª
¡°Doubtless you are the people, and wisdom will die with you!
3. ³ªµµ ³ÊÈñ °°ÀÌ »ý°¢ÀÌ ÀÖ¾î ³ÊÈñ¸¸ ¸øÇÏÁö ¾Æ´ÏÇÏ´Ï ±×°°Àº ÀÏÀ» ´©°¡ ¾ËÁö ¸øÇÏ°Ú´À³Ä
But I have a mind as well as you; I am not inferior to you. Who does not know all these things?
4. Çϳª´Ô²² ºÒ·¯ ¾Æ·Ú¾î µéÀ¸½ÉÀ» ÀÔÀº ³»°¡ ÀÌ¿ô¿¡°Ô ¿ôÀ½°Å¸®°¡ µÇ¾úÀ¸´Ï ÀÇ·Ó°í ¿ÂÀüÇÑ ÀÚ°¡
Á¶·Õ°Å¸®°¡ µÇ¾ú±¸³ª
¡°I have become a laughingstock to my friends, though I called upon God and he answered--
a mere laughingstock, though righteous and blameless!
5. Æò¾ÈÇÑ ÀÚÀÇ ¸¶À½Àº Àç¾ÓÀ» ¸ê½ÃÇϳª Àç¾ÓÀÌ ½ÇÁ·ÇÏ´Â ÀÚ¸¦ ±â´Ù¸®´Â±¸³ª
Men at ease have contempt for misfortune as the fate of those whose feet are slipping.
6. °µµÀÇ À帷Àº ÇüÅëÇÏ°í Çϳª´ÔÀ» Áø³ëÇÏ°Ô ÇÏ´Â ÀÚ´Â Æò¾ÈÇÏ´Ï Çϳª´ÔÀÌ ±×ÀÇ ¼Õ¿¡ ÈÄÈ÷ ÁÖ½ÉÀ̴϶ó
The tents of marauders are undisturbed, and those who provoke God are secure--
those who carry their god in their hands.
7. ÀÌÁ¦ ¸ðµç Áü½Â¿¡°Ô ¹°¾î º¸¶ó ±×°ÍµéÀÌ ³×°Ô °¡¸£Ä¡¸®¶ó °øÁßÀÇ »õ¿¡°Ô ¹°¾î º¸¶ó ±×°ÍµéÀÌ
¶ÇÇÑ ³×°Ô ¸»Çϸ®¶ó
¡°But ask animals, and they will teach you, or the birds of the air, and they will tell you;
8. ¶¥¿¡°Ô ¸»Ç϶ó ³×°Ô °¡¸£Ä¡¸®¶ó ¹Ù´ÙÀÇ °í±âµµ ³×°Ô ¼³¸íÇϸ®¶ó
or speak to the earth, and it will teach you, or let the fish of the sea inform you.
9. À̰͵é Áß¿¡ ¾î´À °ÍÀÌ ¿©È£¿ÍÀÇ ¼ÕÀÌ À̸¦ ÇàÇϽŠÁÙÀ» ¾ËÁö ¸øÇÏ·ª
Which of all these does not know that the hand of the LORD has done this?
10. ¸ðµç »ý¹°ÀÇ »ý¸í°ú ¸ðµç »ç¶÷ÀÇ À°½ÅÀÇ ¸ñ¼ûÀÌ ´Ù ±×ÀÇ ¼Õ¿¡ ÀÖ´À´Ï¶ó
In his hand is the life of every creature and the breath of all mankind.
11. ÀÔÀÌ À½½ÄÀÇ ¸ÀÀ» ±¸º°ÇÔ °°ÀÌ ±Í°¡ ¸»À» ºÐ°£ÇÏÁö ¾Æ´ÏÇÏ´À³Ä
Does not the ear test words as the tongue tastes food?
12. ´ÄÀº ÀÚ¿¡°Ô´Â ÁöÇý°¡ ÀÖ°í Àå¼öÇÏ´Â ÀÚ¿¡°Ô´Â ¸íöÀÌ ÀÖ´À´Ï¶ó
Is not wisdom found among the aged? Does not long life bring understanding?
13. ÁöÇý¿Í ±Ç´ÉÀÌ Çϳª´Ô²² ÀÖ°í °è·«°ú ¸íöµµ ±×¿¡°Ô ¼ÓÇÏ¿´³ª´Ï
¡°To God belong wisdom and power; counsel and understanding are his.
14. ±×°¡ ÇæÀ¸½ÅÁï ´Ù½Ã ¼¼¿ï ¼ö ¾ø°í »ç¶÷À» °¡µÎ½ÅÁï ³õ¾ÆÁÖÁö ¸øÇÏ´À´Ï¶ó
What he tears down cannot be rebuilt; the man he imprisons cannot be released.
15. ±×°¡ ¹°À» ¸·À¸½ÅÁï °ð ¸¶¸£°í ¹°À» º¸³»½ÅÁï °ð ¶¥À» µÚÁý³ª´Ï
If he holds back the waters, there is drought; if he lets them loose, they devastate the land.
16. ´É·Â°ú ÁöÇý°¡ ±×¿¡°Ô ÀÖ°í ¼ÓÀº ÀÚ¿Í ¼ÓÀÌ´Â ÀÚ°¡ ´Ù ±×¿¡°Ô ¼ÓÇÏ¿´À¸¹Ç·Î
To him belong strength and victory; both deceived and deceiver are his.
17. ¸ð»ç¸¦ ¹ú°Å¹þ°Ü ²ø¾î °¡½Ã¸ç ÀçÆÇÀåÀ» ¾î¸®¼®Àº ÀÚ°¡ µÇ°Ô ÇϽøç
He leads counselors away stripped and makes fools of judges.
18. ¿ÕµéÀÌ ¸Ç °ÍÀ» Ç®¾î ±×µéÀÇ Ç㸮¸¦ µ¿À̽øç
He takes off the shackles put on by kings and ties a loincloth around their waist.
19. Á¦»çÀåµéÀ» ¹ú°Å¹þ°Ü ²ø¾î °¡½Ã°í ±Ç·ÂÀÌ ÀÖ´Â ÀÚ¸¦ ³Ñ¾î¶ß¸®½Ã¸ç
He leads priests away stripped and overthrows men long established.
20. Ã漺µÈ »ç¶÷µéÀÇ ¸»À» ¹°¸®Ä¡½Ã¸ç ´ÄÀº ÀÚµéÀÇ ÆÇ´ÜÀ» »©¾ÑÀ¸½Ã¸ç
He silences the lips of trusted advisers and takes away the discernment of elders.
21. ±ÍÀε鿡°Ô ¸ê½Ã¸¦ ½ñÀ¸½Ã¸ç °ÇÑ ÀÚÀÇ ¶ì¸¦ Ǫ½Ã¸ç
He pours contempt on nobles and disarms the mighty.
22. ¾îµÎ¿î °¡¿îµ¥¿¡¼ Àº¹ÐÇÑ °ÍÀ» µå·¯³»½Ã¸ç Á×À½ÀÇ ±×´ÃÀ» ±¤¸íÇÑ µ¥·Î ³ª¿À°Ô ÇϽøç
He reveals the deep things of darkness and brings deep shadows into the light.
23. ¹ÎÁ·µéÀ» Ä¿Áö°Ôµµ ÇÏ½Ã°í ´Ù½Ã ¸êÇϱ⵵ ÇÏ½Ã¸ç ¹ÎÁ·µéÀ» ³Î¸® ÆÛÁö°Ôµµ ÇÏ½Ã°í ´Ù½Ã ²ø·Á°¡°Ôµµ ÇϽøç
He makes nations great, and destroys them; he enlarges nations, and disperses them.
24. ¸¸¹ÎÀÇ ¿ìµÎ¸Ó¸®µéÀÇ ÃѸíÀ» »©¾ÑÀ¸½Ã°í ±×µéÀ» ±æ¾ø´Â °ÅÄ£ µé¿¡¼ ¹æȲÇÏ°Ô ÇϽøç
He deprives the leaders of the earth of their reason; he sends them wandering
through a trackless waste.
25. ºû ¾øÀÌ Ä¯Ä¯ÇÑ µ¥¸¦ ´õµë°Ô ÇϽøç ÃëÇÑ »ç¶÷ °°ÀÌ ºñƲ°Å¸®°Ô ÇϽôÀ´Ï¶ó
They grope in darkness with no light; he makes them stagger like drunkards.
