The word of the LORD that came to Joel son of Pethuel.
2. ´ÄÀº ÀÚµé¾Æ ³ÊÈñ´Â ÀÌ°ÍÀ» µéÀ»Áö¾î´Ù ¶¥ÀÇ ¸ðµç Áֹεé¾Æ ³ÊÈñ´Â ±Í¸¦ ±â¿ïÀÏÁö¾î´Ù ³ÊÈñÀÇ ³¯¿¡³ª
³ÊÈñ Á¶»óµéÀÇ ³¯¿¡ ÀÌ·± ÀÏÀÌ ÀÖ¾ú´À³Ä
Hear this, you elders; listen, all who live in the land. Has anything like this ever happened
in your days or in the days of your forefathers?
3. ³ÊÈñ´Â ÀÌ ÀÏÀ» ³ÊÈñ Àڳ࿡°Ô ¸»ÇÏ°í ³ÊÈñ ÀÚ³à´Â ÀÚ±â Àڳ࿡°Ô ¸»ÇÏ°í ±× ÀÚ³à´Â Èļ¼¿¡ ¸»ÇÒ °ÍÀ̴϶ó
Tell it to your children, and let your children tell it to their children and their children to the next
generation.
4. ÆÏÁßÀÌ°¡ ³²±ä °ÍÀ» ¸Þ¶Ñ±â°¡ ¸Ô°í ¸Þ¶Ñ±â°¡ ³²±ä °ÍÀ» ´ÀÄ¡°¡ ¸Ô°í ´ÀÄ¡°¡ ³²±ä °ÍÀ» ȲÃæÀÌ ¸Ô¾úµµ´Ù
What the locust swarm has left the great locusts have eaten; what the great locusts have left the
young locusts have eaten; what the young locusts have left other locusts have eaten.
5. ÃëÇÏ´Â ÀÚµé¾Æ ³ÊÈñ´Â ±ú¾î ¿ïÁö¾î´Ù Æ÷µµÁÖ¸¦ ¸¶½Ã´Â ÀÚµé¾Æ ³ÊÈñ´Â ¿ïÁö¾î´Ù ÀÌ´Â ´Ü Æ÷µµÁÖ°¡

Wake up, you drunkards, and weep! Wail, all you drinkers of wine; wail because of the new wine,
for it has been snatched from your lips.

±× ¾î±Ý´Ï´Â ¾Ï»çÀÚÀÇ ¾î±Ý´Ï °°µµ´Ù
A nation has invaded my land, powerful and without number; it has the teeth of a lion,
the fangs of a lioness.
7. ±×µéÀÌ ³» Æ÷µµ³ª¹«¸¦ ¸êÇÏ¸ç ³» ¹«È°ú³ª¹«¸¦ ±Ü¾î ¸»°²°Ô ¹þ°Ü¼ ¹ö¸®´Ï ±× ¸ðµç °¡Áö°¡ ÇϾé°Ô µÇ¾úµµ´Ù
It has laid waste my vines and ruined my fig trees. It has stripped off their bark and thrown it away,
leaving their branches white.
8. ³ÊÈñ´Â ó³à°¡ ¾î·ÈÀ» ¶§¿¡ ¾àÈ¥ÇÑ ³²ÀÚ·Î ¸»¹Ì¾Ï¾Æ ±½Àº º£·Î µ¿ÀÌ°í ¾Ö°îÇÔ °°ÀÌ ÇÒÁö¾î´Ù
Mourn like a virgin in sackcloth grieving for the husband of her youth.
9. ¼ÒÁ¦¿Í ÀüÁ¦°¡ ¿©È£¿ÍÀÇ ¼ºÀü¿¡¼ ²÷¾îÁ³°í ¿©È£¿Í²² ¼öÁ¾µå´Â Á¦»çÀåÀº ½½ÆÛÇϵµ´Ù
Grain offerings and drink offerings are cut off from the house of the LORD. The priests are
in mourning, those who minister before the LORD.
10. ¹çÀÌ È²¹«ÇÏ°í ÅäÁö°¡ ¸¶¸£´Ï °î½ÄÀÌ ¶³¾îÁö¸ç »õ Æ÷µµÁÖ°¡ ¸»¶ú°í ±â¸§ÀÌ ´ÙÇÏ¿´µµ´Ù
The fields are ruined, the ground is dried up; the grain is destroyed, the new wine is dried up,
the oil fails.
11. ³óºÎµé¾Æ ³ÊÈñ´Â ºÎ²ô·¯¿öÇÒÁö¾î´Ù Æ÷µµ¿øÀ» °¡²Ù´Â ÀÚµé¾Æ °îÇÒÁö¾î´Ù ÀÌ´Â ¹Ð°ú º¸¸® ¶§¹®À̶ó
¹çÀÇ ¼Ò»êÀÌ ´Ù ¾ø¾îÁ³À½À̷δÙ
Despair, you farmers, wail, you vine growers; grieve for the wheat and the barley,
because the harvest of the field is destroyed.
12. Æ÷µµ³ª¹«°¡ ½Ãµé¾ú°í ¹«È°ú³ª¹«°¡ ¸»¶úÀ¸¸ç ¼®·ù³ª¹«¿Í ´ëÃß³ª¹«¿Í »ç°ú³ª¹«¿Í ¹çÀÇ ¸ðµç ³ª¹«°¡
´Ù ½Ãµé¾úÀ¸´Ï ÀÌ·¯¹Ç·Î »ç¶÷ÀÇ Áñ°Å¿òÀÌ ¸»¶úµµ´Ù
The vine is dried up and the fig tree is withered; the pomegranate the palm and the apple tree--
all the trees of the field--are dried up. Surely the joy of mankind is withered away.

³» Çϳª´Ô²² ¼öÁ¾µå´Â ÀÚµé¾Æ ³ÊÈñ´Â ¿Í¼ ±½Àº º£ ¿ÊÀ» ÀÔ°í ¹ãÀÌ »õµµ·Ï ´©¿ïÁö¾î´Ù
ÀÌ´Â ¼ÒÁ¦¿Í ÀüÁ¦¸¦ ³ÊÈñ Çϳª´ÔÀÇ ¼ºÀü¿¡ µå¸®Áö ¸øÇÔÀ̷δÙ
Put on sackcloth, O priests, and mourn; wail, you who minister before the altar. Come, spend
the night in sackcloth, you who minister before my God; for the grain offerings and drink
offerings are withheld from the house of your God.
14. ³ÊÈñ´Â ±Ý½ÄÀÏÀ» Á¤ÇÏ°í ¼ºÈ¸¸¦ ¼ÒÁýÇÏ¿© Àå·Îµé°ú ÀÌ ¶¥ÀÇ ¸ðµç ÁֹεéÀ» ³ÊÈñ Çϳª´Ô ¿©È£¿ÍÀÇ
¼ºÀüÀ¸·Î ¸ðÀ¸°í ¿©È£¿Í²² ºÎ¸£Â¢À»Áö¾î´Ù
Declare a holy fast; call a sacred assembly. Summon the elders and all who live in the
land to the house of the LORD your God, and cry out to the LORD.
15. ½½ÇÁ´Ù ±× ³¯ÀÌ¿© ¿©È£¿ÍÀÇ ³¯ÀÌ °¡±î¿ü³ª´Ï °ð ¸ê¸Á °°ÀÌ Àü´ÉÀÚ¿¡°Ô·ÎºÎÅÍ À̸£¸®·Î´Ù
Alas for that day! For the day of the LORD is near; it will come like destruction from the Almighty.
16. ¸ÔÀ» °ÍÀÌ ¿ì¸® ´« ¾Õ¿¡ ²÷¾îÁöÁö ¾Æ´ÏÇÏ¿´´À³Ä ±â»Ý°ú Áñ°Å¿òÀÌ ¿ì¸® Çϳª´ÔÀÇ ¼ºÀü¿¡¼
²÷¾îÁöÁö ¾Æ´ÏÇÏ¿´´À³Ä
Has not the food been cut off before our very eyes--joy and gladness from the house of our God?
17. ¾¾°¡ Èëµ¢ÀÌ ¾Æ·¡¿¡¼ ½â¾îÁ³°í â°í°¡ ºñ¾ú°í °÷°£ÀÌ ¹«³ÊÁ³À¸´Ï ÀÌ´Â °î½ÄÀÌ ½Ãµé¾úÀ½À̷δÙ
The seeds are shriveled beneath the clods. The storehouses are in ruins, the granaries
have been broken down, for the grain has dried up.
18. °¡ÃàÀÌ ¿ïºÎ¢°í ¼Ò ¶¼°¡ ¼Ò¶õÇÏ´Ï ÀÌ´Â ²ÃÀÌ ¾øÀ½À̶ó ¾ç ¶¼µµ ÇÇ°ïÇϵµ´Ù
How the cattle moan! The herds mill about because they have no pasture; even the flocks
of sheep are suffering.
19. ¿©È£¿Í¿© ³»°¡ ÁÖ²² ºÎ¸£Â¢À¸¿À´Ï ºÒÀÌ ¸ñÀåÀÇ Ç®À» »ì¶ú°í ºÒ²ÉÀÌ µéÀÇ ¸ðµç ³ª¹«¸¦ »ì¶úÀ½À̴϶ó
To you, O LORD, I call, for fire has devoured the open pastures and flames have burned up
all the trees of the field.
20. µéÁü½Âµµ ÁÖ¸¦ ÇâÇÏ¿© Ç涱°Å¸®¿À´Ï ½Ã³»°¡ ´Ù ¸»¶ú°í µéÀÇ Ç®ÀÌ ºÒ¿¡ ÅÀÀ½ÀÌ´ÏÀÌ´Ù
Even the wild animals pant for you; the streams of water have dried up and fire has
devoured the open pastures.
