    1. ¿ÕÀÇ ¸¶À½ÀÌ ¿©È£¿ÍÀÇ ¼Õ¿¡ ÀÖÀ½ÀÌ ¸¶Ä¡ º¿¹°°ú °°¾Æ¼­ ±×°¡ ÀÓÀÇ·Î ÀεµÇϽôÀ´Ï¶ó
        The king's heart is in the hand of the LORD; he directs it like a watercourse wherever he pleases.

    2. »ç¶÷ÀÇ ÇàÀ§°¡ Àڱ⠺¸±â¿¡´Â ¸ðµÎ Á¤Á÷ÇÏ¿©µµ ¿©È£¿Í´Â ¸¶À½À» °¨ÂûÇϽôÀ´Ï¶ó
        All a man's ways seem right to him, but the LORD weighs the heart.

    3. °øÀÇ¿Í Á¤ÀǸ¦ ÇàÇÏ´Â °ÍÀº Á¦»ç µå¸®´Â °Íº¸´Ù ¿©È£¿Í²²¼­ ±â»Ú°Ô ¿©±â½Ã´À´Ï¶ó
        To do what is right and just is more acceptable to the LORD than sacrifice.

    4. ´«ÀÌ ³ôÀº °Í°ú ¸¶À½ÀÌ ±³¸¸ÇÑ °Í°ú ¾ÇÀÎÀÌ ÇüÅëÇÑ °ÍÀº ´Ù Á˴϶ó
        Haughty eyes and a proud heart, the lamp of the wicked, are sin!

    5. ºÎÁö·±ÇÑ ÀÚÀÇ °æ¿µÀº dzºÎÇÔ¿¡ À̸¦ °ÍÀ̳ª Á¶±ÞÇÑ ÀÚ´Â ±ÃÇÌÇÔ¿¡ À̸¦ µû¸§À̴϶ó
        The plans of the diligent lead to profit a surely as haste leads to poverty.

    6. ¼ÓÀÌ´Â ¸»·Î Àç¹°À» ¸ðÀ¸´Â °ÍÀº Á×À½À» ±¸ÇÏ´Â °ÍÀ̶ó °ð ºÒ·Á´Ù´Ï´Â ¾È°³´Ï¶ó
        A fortune made by a lying tongue is a fleeting vapor and a deadly snare.

    7. ¾ÇÀÎÀÇ °­Æ÷´Â Àڱ⸦ ¼Ò¸êÇϳª´Ï ÀÌ´Â Á¤ÀǸ¦ ÇàÇϱ⠽ȾîÇÔÀ̴϶ó
        The violence of the wicked will drag them away, for they refuse to do what is right.

    8. Á˸¦ Å©°Ô ¹üÇÑ ÀÚÀÇ ±æÀº ½ÉÈ÷ ±¸ºÎ·¯Áö°í ±ú²ýÇÑ ÀÚÀÇ ±æÀº °ðÀ¸´Ï¶ó
        The way of the guilty is devious, but the conduct of the innocent is upright.

    9. ´ÙÅõ´Â ¿©Àΰú ÇÔ²² Å« Áý¿¡¼­ »ç´Â °Íº¸´Ù ¿ò¸·¿¡¼­ »ç´Â °ÍÀÌ ³ªÀ¸´Ï¶ó
        Better to live on a corner of the roof than share a house with a quarrelsome wife.

    10. ¾ÇÀÎÀÇ ¸¶À½Àº ³²ÀÇ Àç¾ÓÀ» ¿øÇϳª´Ï ±× ÀÌ¿ôµµ ±× ¾Õ¿¡¼­ ÀºÇý¸¦ ÀÔÁö ¸øÇÏ´À´Ï¶ó
         The wicked man craves evil; his neighbor gets no mercy from him.

         When a mocker is punished, the simple gain widom; when a wise man is instructed,
         he gets knowledge.

    12. ÀǷοì½Å ÀÚ´Â ¾ÇÀÎÀÇ ÁýÀ» °¨ÂûÇÏ½Ã°í ¾ÇÀÎÀ» ȯ³­¿¡ ´øÁö½Ã´À´Ï¶ó
         The Righteous One takes note of the house of the wicked and brings the wicked to ruin.

    13. ±Í¸¦ ¸·°í °¡³­ÇÑ ÀÚ°¡ ºÎ¸£Â¢´Â ¼Ò¸®¸¦ µèÁö ¾Æ´ÏÇϸé ÀڱⰡ ºÎ¸£Â¢À» ¶§¿¡µµ µéÀ» ÀÚ°¡ ¾øÀ¸¸®¶ó
         If a man shuts his ears to the cry of the poor, he too will cry out and not be answered.

    14. Àº¹ÐÇÑ ¼±¹°Àº ³ë¸¦ ½¬°Ô ÇÏ°í Ç° ¾ÈÀÇ ³ú¹°Àº ¸Í·ÄÇÑ ºÐÀ» ±×Ä¡°Ô ÇÏ´À´Ï¶ó
         A gift given in secret soothes anger, and a bribe concealed in the cloak pacifies great wrath.

         When justice is done, it brings joy to the righteous but terror to evildoers.

         A man who strays from the path of understanding comes to rest in the company of the dead.

         He who loves pleasure will become poor; whoever loves wine and oil will never be rich.

         The wicked become a ransom for the righteous, and the unfaithful for the upright.

         Better to live in a desert than with a quarrelsome and ill-tempered wife.

    20. ÁöÇý ÀÖ´Â ÀÚÀÇ Áý¿¡´Â ±ÍÇÑ º¸¹è¿Í ±â¸§ÀÌ ÀÖÀ¸³ª ¹Ì·ÃÇÑ ÀÚ´Â ÀÌ°ÍÀ» ´Ù »ïÄÑ ¹ö¸®´À´Ï¶ó
         In the house of the wise are stores of choicew food and oil, but a foolish man devours all he has.

         A wise man attacks the city of the mighty and pulls down the stronghold in which they trust.

         He who guards his mouth and his tongue keeps himself from calamity.

         The proud and arrongant man--¡°Mocker¡± is his name; he behaves with overweening pride.

         The sluggard¡¯s craving will be the death of him, because his hands refuse to work.

    26. ¾î¶² ÀÚ´Â Á¾ÀÏÅä·Ï ŽÇϱ⸸ Çϳª ÀÇÀÎÀº ¾Æ³¢Áö ¾Æ´ÏÇÏ°í º£Çª´À´Ï¶ó
         All day long he craves for more, but the righteous give without sparing.

    27. ¾ÇÀÎÀÇ Á¦¹°Àº º»·¡ °¡ÁõÇϰŵç ÇϹ°¸ç ¾ÇÇÑ ¶æÀ¸·Î µå¸®´Â °ÍÀÌ·ª
         The sacrifice of the wicked is detestable—how much more so when brought with evil intent!

    28. °ÅÁþ ÁõÀÎÀº ÆиÁÇÏ·Á´Ï¿Í È®½ÇÈ÷ µéÀº »ç¶÷ÀÇ ¸»Àº ÈûÀÌ ÀÖ´À´Ï¶ó
         A false witness will perish, and whoever listens to him will be destroyed forever.

    29. ¾ÇÀÎÀº ÀÚ±âÀÇ ¾ó±¼À» ±»°Ô Çϳª Á¤Á÷ÇÑ ÀÚ´Â ÀÚ±âÀÇ ÇàÀ§¸¦ »ï°¡´À´Ï¶ó
         A wicked man puts up a bold front, but an upright man gives thought to his ways.

         There is no wisdom, no insight, no plan that can succeed against the LORD.

         The horse is made ready for the day of bqttle, but victory rests with the LORD.
