    1. ¸¹Àº Àç¹°º¸´Ù ¸í¿¹¸¦ ÅÃÇÒ °ÍÀÌ¿ä ÀºÀ̳ª ±Ýº¸´Ù ÀºÃÑÀ» ´õ¿í ÅÃÇÒ °ÍÀ̴϶ó
        A good name is more desirable than great riches; to be esteemed is better than silver or gold.

    2. °¡³­ÇÑ ÀÚ¿Í ºÎÇÑ ÀÚ°¡ ÇÔ²² »ì°Å´Ï¿Í ±× ¸ðµÎ¸¦ ÁöÀ¸½Å ÀÌ´Â ¿©È£¿Í½Ã´Ï¶ó
        Rich and poor have this in common : The LORD is the Maker of them all.

        A prudent man sees danger and takes refuge, but the simple keep going and suffer for it.

        Humility and the fear of the LORD bring wealth and honor and life.

    5. ÆпªÇÑ ÀÚÀÇ ±æ¿¡´Â °¡½Ã¿Í ¿Ã¹«°¡ ÀÖ°Å´Ï¿Í ¿µÈ¥À» ÁöÅ°´Â ÀÚ´Â À̸¦ ¸Ö¸® ÇÏ´À´Ï¶ó
        In the paths of the wicked lie thorns and snares, but he who guards his soul stays far from them.

    6. ¸¶¶¥È÷ ÇàÇÒ ±æÀ» ¾ÆÀÌ¿¡°Ô °¡¸£Ä¡¶ó ±×¸®ÇÏ¸é ´Ä¾îµµ ±×°ÍÀ» ¶°³ªÁö ¾Æ´ÏÇϸ®¶ó
        Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it.

    7. ºÎÀÚ´Â °¡³­ÇÑ ÀÚ¸¦ ÁÖ°üÇÏ°í ºúÁø Àڴ åÁÖÀÇ Á¾ÀÌ µÇ´À´Ï¶ó
        The rich rule over the poor, and the borrower is servant to the lender.

        He who sows wickedness reaps trouble, and the rod of his fury will be destroyed.

    9. ¼±ÇÑ ´«À» °¡Áø ÀÚ´Â º¹À» ¹ÞÀ¸¸®´Ï ÀÌ´Â ¾ç½ÄÀ» °¡³­ÇÑ ÀÚ¿¡°Ô ÁÜÀ̴϶ó
        A generous man will himself be blessed, for he shares his food with the poor.

    10. °Å¸¸ÇÑ ÀÚ¸¦ ÂѾƳ»¸é ´ÙÅùÀÌ ½¬°í ½Î¿ò°ú ¼ö¿åÀÌ ±×Ä¡´À´Ï¶ó
          Drive out the mocker, and out goes strife; quarrels and insultes are ended.

    11. ¸¶À½ÀÇ Á¤°áÀ» »ç¸ðÇÏ´Â ÀÚÀÇ ÀÔ¼ú¿¡´Â ´öÀÌ ÀÖÀ¸¹Ç·Î ÀÓ±ÝÀÌ ±×ÀÇ Ä£±¸°¡ µÇ´À´Ï¶ó
         He who loves a pure heart and whose speech is gracious will have the king for his friend.

    12. ¿©È£¿ÍÀÇ ´«Àº Áö½Ä ÀÖ´Â »ç¶÷À» ÁöÅ°½Ã³ª »ç¾ÇÇÑ »ç¶÷ÀÇ ¸»Àº ÆÐÇÏ°Ô ÇϽôÀ´Ï¶ó
         The eyes of the LORD keep watch over knowledge, but he frustrates the words of the unfaithful.

    13. °ÔÀ¸¸¥ ÀÚ´Â ¸»Çϱ⸦ »çÀÚ°¡ ¹Û¿¡ ÀÖÀºÁï ³»°¡ ³ª°¡¸é °Å¸®¿¡¼­ Âõ±â°Ú´Ù ÇÏ´À´Ï¶ó
         The sluggard says, ¡°There is a lion outside!¡± or, ¡°I will be murdered in the streets!¡±

    14. À½³àÀÇ ÀÔÀº ±íÀº ÇÔÁ¤ÀÌ¶ó ¿©È£¿ÍÀÇ ³ë¸¦ ´çÇÑ ÀÚ´Â °Å±â ºüÁö¸®¶ó
         The mouth of an adulteress is a deep pit; he who is under the LORD¡¯S wrath will fall into it.

    15. ¾ÆÀÌÀÇ ¸¶À½¿¡´Â ¹Ì·ÃÇÑ °ÍÀÌ ¾ôÇûÀ¸³ª ¡°èÇϴ äÂïÀÌ À̸¦ ¸Ö¸® ÂѾƳ»¸®¶ó
         Folly is bound up in the heart of a child, but the rod of discipline will drive it far from him.

    16. ÀÌÀÍÀ» ¾òÀ¸·Á°í °¡³­ÇÑ ÀÚ¸¦ ÇдëÇÏ´Â ÀÚ¿Í ºÎÀÚ¿¡°Ô ÁÖ´Â ÀÚ´Â °¡³­ÇÏ¿©Áú »ÓÀ̴϶ó
         He who oppresses the poor to increase his wealth and he who gives gifts to the rich—
         both come to poverty.

         Pay attention and listen to the sayings of the wise; apply your heart to what I teach,

         for it is pleasing when you keep them in your heart and have all of them ready on your lips.

         So that your trust may be in the LORD, I teach you today, even you.

    20. ³»°¡ ¸ð·«°ú Áö½ÄÀÇ ¾Æ¸§´Ù¿î °ÍÀ» ³Ê¸¦ À§ÇØ ±â·ÏÇÏ¿©
         Have I not written thirty sayings for you, sayings of counsel and knowledge,

    21. ³×°¡ Áø¸®ÀÇ È®½ÇÇÑ ¸»¾¸À» ±ú´Ý°Ô ÇÏ¸ç ¶Ç ³Ê¸¦ º¸³»´Â ÀÚ¿¡°Ô Áø¸®ÀÇ ¸»¾¸À¸·Î ȸ´äÇÏ°Ô ÇÏ·Á ÇÔÀÌ ¾Æ´Ï³Ä
         teaching you true and reliable words, so that you can give sound answers to him who sent you?

    22. ¾àÇÑ ÀÚ¸¦ ±×°¡ ¾àÇÏ´Ù°í Å»ÃëÇÏÁö ¸»¸ç °ï°íÇÑ ÀÚ¸¦ ¼º¹®¿¡¼­ ¾ÐÁ¦ÇÏÁö ¸»¶ó
         Do not exploit the poor because they are poor and do not crush the needy in court,

    23. ´ëÀú ¿©È£¿Í²²¼­ ½Å¿øÇÏ¿© ÁÖ½Ã°í ¶Ç ±×¸¦ ³ë·«ÇÏ´Â ÀÚÀÇ »ý¸íÀ» »©¾ÑÀ¸½Ã¸®¶ó
         for the LORD will take up their case and will plunder those who plunder them.

    24. ³ë¸¦ Ç°´Â ÀÚ¿Í »ç±ÍÁö ¸»¸ç ¿ïºÐÇÑ ÀÚ¿Í µ¿ÇàÇÏÁö ¸»Áö´Ï
         Do not make friends with a hot-tempered man, do not associate with one easily angered,

    25. ±×ÀÇ ÇàÀ§¸¦ º»¹Þ¾Æ ³× ¿µÈ¥À» ¿Ã¹«¿¡ ºü¶ß¸±±î µÎ·Á¿òÀ̴϶ó
         or you may learn his ways and get yourself ensnared.

    26. ³Ê´Â »ç¶÷°ú ´õºÒ¾î ¼ÕÀ» ÀâÁö ¸»¸ç ³²ÀÇ ºú¿¡ º¸ÁõÀ» ¼­Áö ¸»¶ó
         Do not be a man who strikes hands in pledge or puts up security for debts;

    27. ¸¸ÀÏ °±À» °ÍÀÌ ³×°Ô ¾øÀ¸¸é ³× ´©¿î ħ»óµµ »©¾Ñ±æ °ÍÀ̶ó ³×°¡ ¾îÂî ±×¸®ÇÏ°Ú´À³Ä
         if you lack the means to pay, your very bed will be snatched from under you.

    28. ³× ¼±Á¶°¡ ¼¼¿î ¿¾ Áö°è¼®À» ¿Å±âÁö ¸»Áö´Ï¶ó
         Do not move an ancient boundary stone set up by your forefathers.

    29. ³×°¡ ÀÚ±âÀÇ ÀÏ¿¡ ´É¼÷ÇÑ »ç¶÷À» º¸¾Ò´À³Ä ÀÌ·¯ÇÑ »ç¶÷Àº ¿Õ ¾Õ¿¡ ¼³ °ÍÀÌ¿ä õÇÑ ÀÚ ¾Õ¿¡ ¼­Áö ¾Æ´ÏÇϸ®¶ó
         Do you see a man skilled in his work? He will serve before kings;
         he will not serve before obscure men.
