2. ÁöÇý ÀÖ´Â ÀÚµé¾Æ ³» ¸»À» µéÀ¸¸ç Áö½Ä ÀÖ´Â ÀÚµé¾Æ ³»°Ô ±Í¸¦ ±â¿ïÀ̶ó
¡°Hear my words, you wise men; listen to me, you men of learning.
3. ÀÔÀÌ À½½Ä¹°ÀÇ ¸ÀÀ» ºÐ¸êÇÔ °°ÀÌ ±Í°¡ ¸»À» ºÐº°Çϳª´Ï
For the ear tests words as the tongue tastes food.
4. ¿ì¸®°¡ Á¤ÀǸ¦ °¡·Á³»°í ¹«¾ùÀÌ ¼±ÇÑ°¡ ¿ì¸®³¢¸® ¾Ë¾Æº¸ÀÚ
Let us discern for ourselves what is right; let us learn together what is good.
5. ¿éÀÌ ¸»Çϱ⸦ ³»°¡ ÀǷο쳪 Çϳª´ÔÀÌ ³» ÀǸ¦ ºÎÀÎÇϼ̰í
¡°Job says, 'I am innocent, but God denies me justice.
6. ³»°¡ Á¤´çÇÔ¿¡µµ °ÅÁþ¸»ÀïÀ̶ó ÇÏ¿´°í ³ª´Â Çã¹°ÀÌ ¾øÀ¸³ª È»ì·Î »óó¸¦ ÀÔ¾ú³ë¶ó ÇÏ´Ï
Although I am right, I am considered a liar; although I am guiltless,
his arrow inflicts an incurable wound.'
7. ¾î¶² »ç¶÷ÀÌ ¿é°ú °°À¸·ª ¿éÀÌ ºñ¹æÇϱ⸦ ¹°¸¶½Ãµí Çϸç
What man is like Job, who drinks scorn like water?
8. ¾ÇÇÑ ÀÏÀ» ÇÏ´Â ÀÚµé°ú ÇÑÆа¡ µÇ¾î ¾ÇÀΰú ÇÔ²² ´Ù´Ï¸é¼
He keeps company with evildoers; he associates with wicked men.
9. À̸£±â¸¦ »ç¶÷ÀÌ Çϳª´ÔÀ» ±â»µÇϳª ¹«ÀÍÇÏ´Ù Çϴ±¸³ª
For he says, 'It profits a man nothing when he tries to please God.'
10. ±×·¯¹Ç·Î ³ÊÈñ ÃѸíÇÑ ÀÚµé¾Æ ³» ¸»À» µéÀ¸¶ó Çϳª´ÔÀº ¾ÇÀ» ÇàÇÏÁö ¾Æ´ÏÇϽøç
Àü´ÉÀÚ´Â °áÄÚ ºÒÀǸ¦ ÇàÇÏÁö ¾Æ´ÏÇϽðí
¡°So listen to me, you men of understanding. Far be it from God to do evil,
from the Almighty to do wrong.
11. »ç¶÷ÀÇ ÇàÀ§¸¦ µû¶ó °±À¸»ç °¢°¢ ±×ÀÇ ÇàÀ§´ë·Î ¹Þ°Ô ÇϽóª´Ï
He repays a man for what he has done; he brings upon him what his conduct deserves.
12. Áø½Ç·Î Çϳª´ÔÀº ¾ÇÀ» ÇàÇÏÁö ¾Æ´ÏÇϽøç Àü´ÉÀÚ´Â °øÀǸ¦ ±ÁÈ÷Áö ¾Æ´ÏÇϽôÀ´Ï¶ó
It is unthinkable that God would do wrong, that the Almighty would pervert justice.
13. ´©°¡ ¶¥À» ±×¿¡°Ô ¸Ã°å´À³Ä ´©°¡ ¿Â ¼¼»óÀ» ±×¿¡°Ô ¸Ã°å´À³Ä
who appointed him over the earth? Who put him in charge of the whole world?
14. ±×°¡ ¸¸ÀÏ ¶æÀ» Á¤ÇÏ½Ã°í ±×ÀÇ ¿µ°ú ¸ñ¼ûÀ» °ÅµÎ½ÇÁø´ë
If it were his intention and he withdrew his spirit and breath,
15. ¸ðµç À°Ã¼°¡ ´Ù ÇÔ²² Á×À¸¸ç »ç¶÷Àº ÈëÀ¸·Î µ¹¾Æ°¡¸®¶ó
all mankind would perish together and man would return to the dust.
16. ¸¸ÀÏ ³×°¡ ÃѸíÀÌ Àְŵç ÀÌ°ÍÀ» µéÀ¸¸ç ³» ¸»¼Ò¸®¿¡ ±Í¸¦ ±â¿ïÀ̶ó
¡°If you have understanding, hear this; listen to what I say.
17. Á¤ÀǸ¦ ¹Ì¿öÇϽô À̽öó¸é ¾îÂî ±×´ë¸¦ ´Ù½º¸®°Ú´À³Ä ÀÇ·Ó°í Àü´ÉÇϽŠÀ̸¦ ±×´ë°¡ Á¤ÁËÇÏ°Ú´À³Ä
Can he who hates justice govern? Will you condemn the just and mighty One?
18. ±×´Â ¿Õ¿¡°Ô¶óµµ ¹«¿ëÁö¹°À̶ó ÇϽøç ÁöµµÀڵ鿡°Ô¶óµµ ¾ÇÇÏ´Ù ÇϽøç
Is he not the One who says to kings, 'You are worthless,' and to nobles, 'You are wicked,'
19. °í°üÀ» ¿Ü¸ð·Î ´ëÇÏÁö ¾Æ´ÏÇÏ½Ã¸ç °¡³ÇÑ ÀÚµé ¾Õ¿¡¼ ºÎÀÚÀÇ ³¸À» ¼¼¿öÁÖÁö ¾Æ´ÏÇϽóª´Ï
ÀÌ´Â ±×µéÀÌ ´Ù ±×ÀÇ ¼ÕÀ¸·Î ÁöÀ¸½Å ¹Ù°¡ µÊÀ̶ó
who shows no partiality to princes and does not favor the rich over the poor,
for they are all the work of his hands?
20. ±×µéÀº ÇѹãÁß¿¡ ¼ø½Ä°£¿¡ Á׳ª´Ï ¹é¼ºÀº ¶³¸ç »ç¶óÁö°í ¼¼·Â ÀÖ´Â ÀÚµµ »ç¶÷ÀÇ ¼ÕÀ»
ºô¸®Áö ¾Ê°í Á¦°ÅÇÔÀ» ´çÇÏ´À´Ï¶ó
They die in an instant, in the middle of the night; the people are shaken and they pass away;
the mighty are removed without human hand.
21. ±×´Â »ç¶÷ÀÇ ±æÀ» ÁÖ¸ñÇÏ½Ã¸ç »ç¶÷ÀÇ ¸ðµç °ÉÀ½À» °¨ÂûÇϽóª´Ï
¡°His eyes are on the ways of men; he sees their every step.
22. Çà¾ÇÀÚ´Â ¼ûÀ» ¸¸ÇÑ Èæ¾ÏÀ̳ª »ç¸ÁÀÇ ±×´ÃÀÌ ¾ø´À´Ï¶ó
There is no dark place, no deep shadow, where evildoers can hide.
23. Çϳª´ÔÀº »ç¶÷À» ½ÉÆÇÇϽñ⿡ ¿À·¡ »ý°¢ÇÏ½Ç °ÍÀÌ ¾øÀ¸½Ã´Ï
God has no need to examine men further, that they shoul come before him for judgment.
24. ¼¼·Â ÀÖ´Â ÀÚ¸¦ Á¶»çÇÒ °Í ¾øÀÌ ²ªÀ¸½Ã°í ´Ù¸¥ »ç¶÷À» ¼¼¿ö ±×¸¦ ´ë½ÅÇÏ°Ô ÇϽôÀ´Ï¶ó
Without inquiry he shatters the mighty and sets up others in their place.
25. ±×·¯¹Ç·Î ±×´Â ±×µéÀÇ ÇàÀ§¸¦ ¾Æ½Ã°í ±×µéÀ» ¹ã »çÀÌ¿¡ µÚÁý¾î¾þ¾î ÈðÀ¸½Ã´Âµµ´Ù
Because he takes note of their deeds, he overthrows them in the night and they are crushed.
26. ±×µéÀ» ¾ÇÇÑ ÀÚ·Î ¿©°Ü »ç¶÷ÀÇ ´« ¾Õ¿¡¼ Ä¡½ÉÀº
He punishes them for their wickedness where everyone can see them,
27. ±×µéÀÌ ±×¸¦ ¶°³ª°í ±×ÀÇ ¸ðµç ±æÀ» ±ú´Þ¾Æ ¾ËÁö ¸øÇÔÀ̶ó
because they turned from following him and had no regard for any of his ways.
28. ±×µéÀÌ ÀÌ¿Í °°ÀÌ ÇÏ¿© °¡³ÇÑ ÀÚÀÇ ºÎ¸£Â¢À½ÀÌ ±×¿¡°Ô »ó´ÞÇÏ°Ô ÇÏ¸ç ºó±ÃÇÑ »ç¶÷ÀÇ
ºÎ¸£Â¢À½ÀÌ ±×¿¡°Ô µé¸®°Ô ÇÏ´À´Ï¶ó
They caused the cry of the poor to come before him, so that he heard the cry of the needy.
29. ÁÖ²²¼ ħ¹¬ÇÏ½Å´Ù°í ´©°¡ ±×¸¦ Á¤ÁËÇÏ¸ç ±×°¡ ¾ó±¼À» °¡¸®½Å´Ù¸é ´©°¡ ±×¸¦ ºÆ¿Ã ¼ö ÀÖÀ¸·ª
±×´Â ¹ÎÁ·¿¡°Ô³ª Àηù¿¡°Ô³ª µ¿ÀÏÇϽôÏ
But if he reamins silent, who can condemn him? If he hides his face, who can see him?
Yet he is over man and nation alike,
30. ÀÌ´Â °æ°ÇÇÏÁö ¸øÇÑ ÀÚ°¡ ±Ç¼¼¸¦ Àâ¾Æ ¹é¼ºÀ» ¿Ä¾Æ¸ÅÁö ¸øÇÏ°Ô ÇÏ·Á ÇϽÉÀ̴϶ó
to keep a godless man from ruling, from laying snares for the people.
31. ±×´ë°¡ Çϳª´Ô²² ¾Æ·Ú±â¸¦ ³»°¡ Á˸¦ Áö¾ú»ç¿À´Ï ´Ù½Ã´Â ¹üÁËÇÏÁö ¾Æ´ÏÇÏ°Ú³ªÀÌ´Ù
¡°Suppose a man says to God, 'I am guilty but will offend no more.
32. ³»°¡ ±ú´ÝÁö ¸øÇÏ´Â °ÍÀ» ³»°Ô °¡¸£Ä¡¼Ò¼ ³»°¡ ¾ÇÀ» ÇàÇÏ¿´À¸³ª ´Ù½Ã´Â ¾Æ´ÏÇÏ°Ú³ªÀÌ´Ù ÇÏ¿´´Â°¡
Teach me what I cannot see; if I have done wrong, I will not do so again.'
33. Çϳª´Ô²²¼ ±×´ë°¡ °ÅÀýÇÑ´Ù°í ÇÏ¿© ±×´ëÀÇ ¶æ´ë·Î ¼ÓÀüÀ» Ä¡¸£½Ã°Ú´À³Ä ±×·¯¸é
±×´ë°¡ ½º½º·Î ÅÃÇÒ °ÍÀÌ¿ä ³»°¡ ÇÒ °ÍÀÌ ¾Æ´Ï´Ï ±×´ë´Â ¾Æ´Â ´ë·Î ¸»Ç϶ó
Should God then reward you on your terms, when you refuse to repent?
You must decide, not I; so tell me what you know.
34. ½½±â·Î¿î ÀÚ¿Í ³» ¸»À» µè´Â ÁöÇý ÀÖ´Â »ç¶÷Àº ¹Ýµå½Ã ³»°Ô ¸»Çϱ⸦
¡°Men of understanding declare, wise men who hear me say to me,
35. ¿éÀÌ ¹«½ÄÇÏ°Ô ¸»ÇÏ´Ï ±×ÀÇ ¸»ÀÌ ÁöÇý·ÓÁö ¸øÇϵµ´Ù Çϸ®¶ó
¡®Job speaks without knowledge; his words lack insight.'
36. ³ª´Â ¿éÀÌ ³¡±îÁö ½ÃÇè ¹Þ±â¸¦ ¿øÇϳë´Ï ÀÌ´Â ±× ´ë´äÀÌ ¾ÇÀΰú °°À½À̶ó
Oh, that Job might be tested to the utmost for answering like a wicked man!
37. ±×°¡ ±×ÀÇ ÁË¿¡ ¹Ý¿ªÀ» ´õÇÏ¸ç ¿ì¸®¿Í ¾î¿ï·Á ¼Õ»ÁÀ» Ä¡¸ç Çϳª´ÔÀ» °Å¿ªÇÏ´Â ¸»À» ¸¹ÀÌ Çϴ±¸³ª
To his sin he adds rebellion; scornfully he claps his hands among us
and multiplies his words against God."
